Zelenskyy Proposes Extending Martial Law Yet Again

It is that time of the season again. Bills to extend martial law and mobilization have landed in the Rada, pushing the timeline well into autumn 2026.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially submitted the paperwork to the Verkhovna Rada to keep things exactly as they are for another three months.

According to the current schedule, the existing martial law and mobilization are set to run until August 2, 2026. This new proposal will push that boundary to October 31, 2026.

There are no massive surprises here — just the usual parliamentary routine. The bills are registered, the deputies will vote, and the calendar will be updated once again.
