Zelenskyy drops war loss numbers on Fox News

Original version ·

President Zelenskyy went on American TV and laid out the real math behind the conflict.

Speaking on air, Zelenskyy stated that Russian losses have reached 1.6 million people, including around 700,000 dead. On the Ukrainian side, he reported roughly 50,000 dead and 400,000 wounded, alongside a high number of missing soldiers.

Asked directly if Ukraine is winning right now, his take was clear: Ukraine isn't losing, and Russia isn't winning. Winning means preserving the country and its independence, while battlefield momentum is no longer in Moscow's hands.

When an invading military treats its troops like disposable ammo, holding the line is as much about sheer endurance as strategy.
