Russian glide bombs hit Zaporizhzhia: 20 dead and 32 injured
Dropping guided bombs on sleeping apartment buildings at dawn is the entire Russian military doctrine in a nutshell.
At 4:48 in the morning, while an entire residential block was fast asleep, Russian aviation dropped guided aerial bombs directly onto a five-story residential building in Zaporizhzhia. An entire entrance section was wiped out in seconds.
As regional head Ivan Fedorov reported, the death toll climbed to 20, with 32 people wounded and hospitalized. First responders are digging through pulverized concrete because people are still missing beneath the rubble.
Another grim morning where surviving simply comes down to whether a glide bomb misses a bedroom.
