The toll continues to climb after a brutal evening attack on the city.

The most gut-wrenching part? Two police officers were hit while they were actually working at the scene, trying to help people after the first blast. One of them didn't make it. It’s not just a statistic, it’s a direct strike on the people who are supposed to be responding to this mess.

Humanity is clearly just a suggestion for some, not a rule.
