Zelenskyy Confirms: Yaroslavl Refinery and Rostov Airbase Had a Rough Night
It seems like Russia is having a really tough time keeping its hardware in one piece lately.
Last night was particularly busy for the various branches of the Ukrainian security and intelligence services. They decided that the Yaroslavl refinery and a military airfield in Rostov needed some unscheduled maintenance.
The results are quite something: the refinery is effectively out of commission for a bit, and at the airfield, three transport planes and three helicopters have been turned into scrap metal. The secondary detonations were apparently loud enough to be noticed by everyone in the neighborhood.
It is becoming a bit of a tradition for these specific targets to get hit, but the sheer volume of equipment destroyed in one night is a pretty solid reminder of what happens when you decide to start a war. The logic is simple: if you use it for the front lines, it eventually becomes a target.
