USA hits Iran for the second time in 24 hours

Original version ·

Looks like the Pentagon decided one night of fireworks wasn't enough to get the point across.

The CENTCOM folks are back at it again, dropping a second wave of strikes on Iran. Apparently, keeping the Strait of Hormuz clear for ships is the priority, and they aren't waiting for the dust to settle before heading back for round two.

Donald Trump claims they’ve hit their main goals already, yet the hits keep coming. It seems the strategy is simple: keep knocking on the door until someone actually shows up to the negotiating table. It’s a bold, expensive way to force a conversation, but nobody ever accused Washington of being subtle.

A hundred billion dollars is a hell of a price tag for a diplomatic nudge.

lol at the price tag. Who's actually paying for this madness?
