Ukraine just hit a Russian drone hub and a bridge—all in one night

Original version ·

It turns out Russia can't hide its drone toys or its logistics chains anymore. Things went boom from the Kherson coast all the way to Rostov.

So, our guys decided it was time to ruin the mood for Russian drone operators. They managed to take out a ground repeater station down in occupied Zaliznyi Port that was helping boost signals for those annoying Geran and Gerbera drones. Without that extra reach, let's just say those buzzing nightmares are going to have a much harder time finding their way.

But wait, there's more. They also smacked a bridge in Henichesk—good luck moving supplies over that anytime soon—and lit up an oil terminal way out in Rostov-on-Don, hundreds of kilometers from the front. It seems like the further Russia tries to hide its gear, the better our reach gets.

Geography is apparently becoming a very flexible concept for Moscow these days.

Are we sure this actually stops the drones or just makes them fly blindly into buildings? This feels like a short-term fix.
+5 solidA rare moment of skepticism that actually questions the long-term efficacy of the strategy
