New Ukrainian drones are getting a 3,000 km range upgrade
If you thought flying 2,500 kilometers to hit an oil refinery in Tyumen was wild, Zelenskyy just dropped a teaser for what comes next.
The recent strike on the Antipinsky refinery in Tyumen was a massive 2,500-kilometer road trip for a drone made by Fire Point. But apparently, that was just a warm-up.
Now, the President says they are pushing the limits even further. The next generation of Ukrainian-made drones will have a range of over 3,000 kilometers. This isn't just a concept; it is already actively in the pipeline.
To put that in perspective, that is deep into Siberia. You could launch from Kyiv and almost hit Novosibirsk. The whole "we are safe in the deep rear" comfort zone for Russian oil and military infrastructure is officially gone.
At this rate, the next Ukrainian drone launch might require a flight attendant and an in-flight movie.
