Ukrainian Drones Visit Saratov Refinery and Engels Airfield
Overnight logisticians in Moscow had a terrible shift because long-range drones decided to do a full sweep of Russian military supply lines.
Ukrainian long-range drones spent the night checking off a very specific bingo card inside Russia. The main hits of the evening were the Saratov Refinery — which turns millions of tons of oil into fuel for the war — and the strategic bomber airbase at Engels. Both caught fire right on schedule.
And because standard fire safety apparently isn't enough, drones also paid a visit to an oil depot in Kaluga Oblast and a drone launch site in Bryansk Oblast. Ukraine's Defense Forces essentially wiped out fuel reserves and drone hubs across multiple Russian regions in a single night.
Strategic bombers need jet fuel, jet fuel comes from refineries, and refineries tend to react poorly to explosive visits.
Somewhere in Moscow, a supply officer is currently trying to figure out how to fly strategic bombers on sheer goodwill and unrefined crude.
