Ukraine’s MoD Just Ordered 300% More Combat Drones

Original version ·

If anyone thought the skies over the front line were already crowded, procurement teams just walked in and cranked the volume to eleven.

Contracting numbers are officially through the roof. Defense procurement has locked down deals for 300% more unmanned systems than the entire previous year, with frontline FPV deliveries already climbing nearly fourfold.

The shopping list covers the entire nightmare fuel spectrum: middle-strike drones hunting down enemy mortar teams and burning out supply trucks, right up to deep-strike machines built specifically to visit industrial facilities inside Russia.

Supplying that many rotors means running out of targets might soon become an actual operational hazard.
