Titan-Barrikady factory and two Russian oil refineries hit overnight
Ukrainian long-range strikes had a busy night, catching a weapons plant in Volgograd, two massive oil refineries, and key logistics hubs off guard.
Ukrainian forces decided to run a full-spectrum night program across multiple Russian regions. The main highlight was the Titan-Barrikady defense plant in Volgograd, where missiles set three separate production workshops on fire and left two others partially destroyed.
At the exact same time, long-range drones paid a visit to two oil refineries. The Slavyansky refinery in Krasnodar Krai ended up with a fresh fire, while the massive Slavneft-YANOS refinery in Yaroslavl — which processes up to 15 million tons of oil a year — was left billowings of heavy smoke. To top it off, a military railway bridge in occupied Crimea and an ammo depot near Amvrosiivka were also caught in the sweep.
Russian air defense systems seem to be prioritizing protecting abstract concepts over physical infrastructure.
