Ukraine hits a strategic Rosrezerv depot deep in Udmurtia

Original version ·

1300 kilometers is not that far when you really want to ruin someone's day.

The Ukrainian military just pulled off a hell of a stunt, hitting the Prioritet facility way out in Udmurtia. We are talking about a place over 1300 kilometers from the border, deep in the Russian heartland.

This wasn't just some random warehouse; it is a heavily guarded state-level strategic reserve built to store fuel and oil for war. Essentially, it was a massive gas station for the Russian war machine, and now it is a fire hazard.

While they were at it, they also tapped a few other depots in Crimea and Luhansk for good measure. Distance is clearly becoming a mere suggestion for the SBU and Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Apparently, the concept of a safe rear area in Russia is officially a thing of the past.

Are we sure this isn't just another 'smoking accident' at a fuel depot? Seems too easy.
