Ukraine hits Novorossiysk, the last safe Russian naval harbor
Remember when Russia moved its Black Sea fleet 300 kilometers away to keep it safe? Yeah, about that.
Ukrainian forces dropped a combined strike on the naval harbor in Novorossiysk using Palyanytsia jet drones, Neptune missiles, and uncrewed sea drones all at once. They hit air defense systems, piers, and harbor infrastructure over 300 kilometers behind the front line.
Novorossiysk was literally the final refuge for Russian warships after Crimea became too hot to handle.
Hiding a navy 300 kilometers away only works until the other side invents something that flies 301 kilometers.
