Strikes hit the Afipsky refinery and a sea drone base

Original version ·

If you thought our guys only target Russian oil tanks, think again. The latest menu includes a refinery in Krasnodar, a drone warehouse, and—wait for it—Russia’s own attempts at making naval drones in occupied Sevastopol.

The General Staff of Ukraine just confirmed a series of highly successful overnight visits. First on the checklist was the Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai, which is now dealing with some very scenic combustion.

But the real highlight of the night happened in occupied Sevastopol. Apparently, the Russians decided to build a facility to assemble their own uncrewed surface vessels—basically attempting to copy our marine drone homework.

Ukraine effectively bombed the factory where Russia was trying to build copies of our naval drones. To make the night even more productive, the military also wiped out a few tactical UAV warehouses and command posts in other occupied areas.

Building a top-secret factory to copy naval drones right in the backyard of the country that perfected them is certainly a strategy of all time.
