56% of Ukrainians Open to Land Concessions, but Only with Ironclad Defense Deals

Original version ·

New polling from Rating Group shows wishful thinking is gone: people are exhausted and open to diplomacy, but nobody is signing a blank check for peace.

Blind surrender does not exist here: a microscopic 3% would cede land without preconditions. Instead, 56% say territorial compromises are thinkable only in exchange for concrete security guarantees, funding, and weapons from the US and European allies.

The collective mood is brutally realistic. Around 62% bluntly admit that right now, neither side is winning this war. Most people back diplomacy to stop the fighting, but they trust politicians about as far as they can throw them: 68% insist that any final decision on territory belongs exclusively on a public referendum ballot.

Almost nobody buys fairy tales of quick victories anymore, but even fewer trust any piece of paper that does not come heavily backed by artillery.
