Drone swarms deliver ammo without GPS, ignoring Russian jamming

Original version ·

Flying a single drone under heavy electronic warfare is stressful enough, but turning one operator into a swarm logistics dispatcher is wild.

The Ministry of Defence and Brave1 are officially scaling multi-drone swarm control that renders electronic warfare essentially useless.

Instead of relying on fragile satellite links, drones take off sequentially and follow pre-calculated routes autonomously. They fly entirely without GPS using secure encrypted coordination, while automated software computes trajectories on the fly to stop them from crashing into each other. A lone pilot monitors the whole fleet on a single screen, only taking manual control for the final landing or drop.

The Da Vinci Wolves assault battalion tested the setup on real supply runs, and their front-line cargo deliveries doubled in just one month.

Electronic warfare gear used to swat drones out of the sky with ease, but now automated supply chains fly straight through the noise on pure code.
