Zelensky Extends Martial Law and Mobilization

No surprise plot twists here: martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine have been extended for another 90 days.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed off on the latest legal bills, pushing martial law and mobilization further into the autumn.

This regular three-month cycle has been running continuously since February 2022. The latest signed laws keep the current wartime legal framework fully active through October 31. All existing rules, restrictions, and recruitment procedures remain exactly as they were.

Parliamentary extensions have officially become the most predictable routine in national governance.
