Ukraine's Drone Force Just Wrecked 15 Russian Shadow Fleet Ships in One Night
While everyone is looking at the ground war, Ukraine's drone masters are playing a very aggressive game of Battleship in the Black Sea—and they have just logged an absolute massacre.
The Unmanned Systems Forces, commanded by the legendary Robert 'Madyar' Brovdi, had an incredibly busy week. In just one night, they hit 15 Russian 'shadow fleet' vessels—seven tankers, five cargo ships, a ferry, and two tugboats. This isn't even the whole picture: over a single week, they successfully damaged 105 Russian vessels.
But they didn't stop at sea. They also paid a visit to the occupied Crimea. Drones knocked out nine power substations and, for the second time in two days, slapped the strategic energy bridge connecting Kuban to Crimea. To make sure the local air defenses couldn't complain, they also blew up a shiny S-400 'Triumf', a Tor missile system, and two radar stations.
All of this while hitting over 1,700 tactical targets across the front lines in just 24 hours.
It turns out that trying to bypass sanctions with a 'shadow fleet' doesn't protect those rusty hulls from very loud, very explosive flying robots.
