Ukraine knocked out 7 of 10 mega-warehouses of retail giant Wildberries
Online shopping in Russia just hit an unexpected snag after drone strikes crippled the country's primary retail supply chain.
Ukrainian defense forces have now disabled seven out of the ten largest logistics centers belonging to Russia's dominant e-commerce giant Wildberries.
The latest drone sweep across the Moscow region knocked out a warehouse in Domodedovo and completely paralyzed the flagship hub in the Koledino industrial park. That single facility spans 250,000 square meters and handled a massive chunk of Moscow's retail flow.
Free express delivery becomes remarkably difficult to pull off when almost your entire national warehouse network goes dark.
