June Heatwave: 11 Russian Refineries and 8 Military Plants Hit by DeepStrike
While everyone was arguing about the weather, Ukrainian drones went on an absolute rampage across Russia, flying up to 2,000 kilometers just to say "hi" to their oil and rocket factories.
Ukraine's long-range drone department, dubbed DeepStrike, just dropped their June recap, and it reads like a chaotic heavy metal tour schedule. They flew up to 2,000 kilometers deep into Russia to hit 11 oil refineries and 8 military factories.
Let's look at the highlights. In Moscow, the local refinery got hit so hard it had to shut down primary oil processing indefinitely. This single plant supplies about 40% of the Russian capital's gasoline. Good luck commuting next week, Muscovites.
Further east, they reached the Tiumen refinery in Western Siberia and the Orenburg gas plant, which makes ingredients for explosives and rocket fuel. But the best part? They also targeted the brains of their military machine. In Cheboksary, drones visited VNII-Progress, the factory making those anti-jamming antennas used in Shahed drones and cruise missiles. In Volgograd, the Titan-Barrikady plant, which builds launchers for Iskander and Yars nuclear-capable missiles, got a fiery visit from Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles.
They even smacked two space communication centers and a modern Steregushchiy-class corvette parked near St. Petersburg. If anyone still thinks this is just a local border skirmish, they are living in a dream world.
At this rate, the Russian military will soon be coordinates-free, signal-free, and most importantly, walking on foot.
