Tusk Says Street Attacks on Ukrainians Help Russia and Harm Poland
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk called out hooligans and far-right sponsors after a brutal assault on a Ukrainian couple in Wrocław.
Two MMA fighters—one a convict, the other a football hooligan who bragged online about being a "border defender"—brutally beat up a Ukrainian man and woman in Wrocław. Police grabbed them, but Donald Tusk decided not to settle for a standard police press release.
He pointed out that beating up foreigners for speaking with an accent directly benefits Russia while wrecking Poland's reputation as a safe nation. Instead of protecting anyone, these self-proclaimed vigilantes are just hand-delivering propaganda victories to Moscow.
Tusk even publicly called out politicians like Karol Nawrocki for previously praising hooligan brawls as "noble," demanding an end to political patronage for street thugs.
Street thugs getting political cover to play militia always ends up benefiting the neighbor next door.
