Trump keeps asking Zelenskyy to visit Putin in Moscow

Original version ·

Apparently, some ideas just won't die, no matter how many times they get rejected.

Trump is pushing for a sit-down between Zelenskyy and Putin in Moscow again. It is a recurring pitch that everyone involved seems exhausted by. Zelenskyy, unsurprisingly, isn't buying it. When asked by Russian reporters about a potential visit to Moscow, his response was simple: he’ll arrive on a rocket, complete with a colorful expletive attached.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the U.S. is trying to get both sides to stop hitting each other's energy grids because global fuel prices are freaking out. Neither side is budging on that either. It is a masterclass in diplomacy where the only thing being exchanged is frustration.

Seems like some people still think a casual coffee in a war zone is the solution to everything.
