Trump is prepping sanctions against the entire ICC
Individual prosecutors were just the warm-up: the Trump team is now gearing up to sanction the whole ICC as an organization.
Washington already slapped bans on specific judges who issued an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu. Now they are taking it a step further: the administration wants to blacklist the entire court as a legal entity.
If approved, the sanctions would bar American companies and citizens from providing any funds, software, IT support, or insurance to the court without a special license. Even paying salaries to dozens of American staffers working at The Hague could suddenly become illegal under US regulations. The plan is essentially to paralyze the world's primary war crimes tribunal by pulling the plug on its basic operational infrastructure.
