Another nightmare night in Sumy: drone strike kills civilian

The Sumy region is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons after a swarm of Russian drones hit a residential area.

Nine Russian drones decided to visit a residential neighborhood in the Romny community. A 66-year-old woman was killed in her own home, and four others ended up needing medical help. Defense forces managed to take some down, but as usual, the ones that got through hit exactly where they shouldn't.

The pattern is becoming agonizingly routine: quiet night, incoming alert, and then the inevitable news of shattered walls and funerals. It’s hard to find the words when the news cycle turns human lives into just another bullet point in a briefing.
