Six Ukrainian Kids Rescued From Occupation After Russia's Identity-Washing Fails

Original version ·

Pulling children out of Russian-occupied territory is practically a covert operation now, but six more are finally safe.

Occupiers in Kherson Oblast spent months applying intense pressure on young Ukrainians aged 6 to 17, attempting a complete identity wipe through forced propaganda. Six children were just successfully rescued and brought back to Ukrainian-controlled territory through the efforts of Bring Kids Back UA and Save Ukraine.

Occupying forces assumed that months of intimidation would force teenagers and kids to forget where they came from, only for rescue teams to snatch them right back across the front lines.

Attempting to force state propaganda on a six-year-old turns out to be entirely ineffective when volunteers keep breaking through to bring them home.
