Another morning, another fire at a Rosneft refinery in Saratov
Looks like the local governor is still just feeling 'threatened' while the skyline glows bright orange.
Drone strikes in Saratov are becoming a bit of a tradition, and the local oil refinery is once again the star of the show. While the governor, Roman Busargin, is busy typing about general threats and warning sirens, the internet is already flooded with footage of the facility turning into an impromptu bonfire.
This isn't even the first time the plant has had a bad day this year. It is one of the oldest refineries owned by Rosneft, and it clearly isn't enjoying this sudden increase in popularity. The facility, which processes millions of tons of oil, is showing its age—and its vulnerability—quite spectacularly.
It is almost impressive how a simple drone can turn a massive industrial complex into an expensive nightlight.
