In Marhanets, a strike directly hit a four-story apartment building. A three-month-old baby boy was killed, and eleven others were injured, including a 5-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. Several victims were rushed to the hospital in serious condition while emergency crews tackled the blaze.

Artillery also pounded Nikopol, farm properties, and local civilian centers across the region.

Targeting apartment blocks and infants in their cribs remains the go-to tactic when real military success is out of reach.
