Russian Drones Strike 5 Gas Stations in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Killing Worker

Original version ·

Overnight drone and artillery strikes zeroed in on civilian gas stations across the region, sparking fires and leaving casualties.

Attacking energy infrastructure usually brings massive power plants to mind, but overnight Russian strikes took a brutally petty turn. Five separate gas stations across Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were hit in drone and artillery waves, sparking immediate fires around pumps and service buildings.

A 43-year-old gas station operator at WOG was killed while on her shift, according to company management. Three other women were injured in the wider bombardment across three districts, including a 35-year-old pregnant woman who had to be hospitalized.

Gas pumps and roadside coffee counters are apparently considered top-tier strategic targets now.
