Russia declares war on Mamyne Sonechko and their kids' books

Original version ·

Because apparently, a stack of children's magazines is the ultimate military threat to the Russian Federation.

So, the Russian military decided the biggest danger to their security was an office full of kids' stories. The Mamyne Sonechko publishing house just got wiped out by a missile strike in Kyiv. It wasn't a bunker or a factory, just a place where they kept books and magazines for little ones.

Everything burned. That’s the reality of the "denazification" strategy—targeting coloring books and nursery rhymes. It’s hard to imagine a more pathetic, cowardly flex, yet here we are.

The world's second-best army is really out here making sure toddlers don't have anything to read.
