During another night of heavy Russian strikes on Ukraine, an armed Kh-101 cruise missile took a wrong turn, flew deep into Polish airspace, and crashed near Lublin.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed the crash on social media, carefully describing the armed warhead as "most likely Russian." The unexpected delivery seems to have focused minds in Warsaw, which is now reviewing sending extra Patriot air defense missiles to Ukraine.

It appears border security decisions move significantly faster when the incoming threat lands within driving distance of regional capitals.
