Jet Drone Hits Passenger Train in Odesa Oblast, Killing Rail Crew

A Russian jet-powered strike drone slammed right into a moving passenger locomotive in Odesa Oblast. There were 340 passengers on board when the impact destroyed the cabin, killing both the train driver and his assistant.
The passengers were evacuated to Odesa by bus and avoided physical injury purely by chance, given that the blast took out the entire front engine. As Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, anyone piloting a precision jet drone can tell the difference between a civilian passenger train and a military target from miles away.
Spending high-end jet-propelled hardware just to hunt commuter engines in the dark remains a special kind of military strategy.
