Russian jet drone zeroes in on a wholesale grocery depot in Lutsk

Original version ·

Because nothing screams 'strategic military threat' quite like pallets of food in western Ukraine.

A high-speed jet drone flew hundreds of kilometers across Ukraine just to turn a local grocery warehouse into a disaster zone. Six people were killed and ten others injured after debris and blast waves ripped through the Eurogurt wholesale depot and a nearby apartment block on Sobornosti Avenue.

Five bodies were pulled directly from beneath the rubble of the warehouse, while another victim died in the hospital. Two people in the apartment building were hurt, including a child. Russia apparently burnt expensive aviation fuel and high-end guidance systems to eliminate packs of pasta and canned goods.

Somewhere a planner ticked off a successful strike against critical logistics, because admitting they just bombed a grocery store would sound too embarrassing even for state television.
