Russian glide bombs hit Zaporizhzhia, killing child and two pensioners

Original version ·

Another round of Russian guided bombs slammed directly into residential blocks in Zaporizhzhia, wiping out homes and leaving dozens wounded.

Russian aviation dropped heavy guided bombs right into a quiet residential quarter in Zaporizhzhia. First responders eventually pulled the body of an 11-year-old girl from beneath the rubble, along with two elderly women aged 71 and 72.

Over forty civilians ended up injured, with shattered apartments and pulverized cars lining the street. Regional head Ivan Fedorov confirmed the toll after emergency crews dug through the wreckage of what used to be people's living rooms.

Dropping multi-ton glide bombs onto apartment blocks continues to pass as standard military strategy while partners take months to deliberate basic air defenses.
