Russian glide bombs hit downtown Sloviansk, gutting apartments
Just another morning in Sloviansk, where Russian aviation decided a residential neighborhood and a delivery hub were top-tier military targets.
Around 10 a.m., two FAB-250 aerial bombs slammed straight into the central district. One of the high-explosive bombs ripped directly into an apartment high-rise, killing a 68-year-old woman and injuring six other civilians going about their morning routine.
The blast wave shredded nine apartment blocks, shattered a local medical facility, and wrecked shops, cars, and a branch of Nova Poshta. Apparently, mail parcels and neighborhood clinics pose an unbearable threat that demands quarter-ton aerial munitions.
"Demilitarization" somehow always ends up looking like shattered living rooms and wounded pensioners.
