Russian troops execute another Ukrainian POW after interrogation
Another filmed war crime on the frontlines in Donetsk region shows exactly why Russian captivity is not a surrender, but an execution waiting to happen.
Russian soldiers captured a Ukrainian defender near the village of Yalta in Donetsk region. After interrogating him, a commander gave the order, and another soldier shot the prisoner on the spot.
This is far from an isolated incident. Ombudsperson Dmytro Lubinets once again dispatched formal letters to the UN and the ICRC, though international paperwork has yet to save a single life on the ground. Official records already confirm at least 129 summary executions of Ukrainian POWs since 2022.
For Russia, international humanitarian law remains nothing more than a checklist of things to violate on camera.
