Around half past four in the afternoon in Nova Vodolaha, a quiet community in the Kharkiv region, the local central park was full of families. That was precisely when a Geran-3 strike drone slammed into the crowd.
Two women—one just 25 years old—and an infant resting in a stroller were killed on the spot. At least 15 more people were wounded, nearly half of them children rushed to intensive care.
A long-range military drone was directed straight into a crowded community park in broad daylight. Emergency crews were left picking through shrapnel scattered across flowerbeds and swing sets.
Millions of dollars in precision guidance systems and high-grade explosives burned just to obliterate a stroller in a village square.
