Another Geran-2 decided to visit Moldova without an invitation

Original version ·

It seems the Russian navigation system is as reliable as a chocolate teapot, as a kamikaze drone just took an unplanned detour intoMoldova.

A Geran-2 drone, presumably aimed at Ukraine, got confused and decided to self-destruct in a Moldovan field near the village of Copanca. Apparently, navigation isn't a strong suit for Moscow's finest hardware.

Local authorities confirmed the explosion happened in the middle of the night. The drone didn't just crash; it actually blew up on impact. Luckily, no one was hurt, but it’s becoming a bit of a recurring trend for these flying lawnmowers to end up in places they definitely shouldn't be.

It is fascinating how often these precision weapons lack the precision to stay in the intended country.
