Russian Ballistics Slam Into a Kyiv High-Rise Overnight

Original version ·

Another regular night in Kyiv, except ballistic missiles came in fast and wrecked an ordinary nine-story apartment building.

Air raid sirens went off, explosions followed almost instantly, and before people could even process what was happening, a Russian ballistic missile hit a nine-story residential building in the Desnyanskyi district.

Flames ripped through apartments from the first floor all the way up to the eighth. First responders had to pull residents down from the upper levels while the building burned around them. Over twenty people were injured, including an eight-year-old kid, and at least two people didn't survive the night.

Meanwhile, across town, another missile strike torched a warehouse, and debris set a sports stadium lawn on fire in Darnytsia. Just regular civilian infrastructure, as usual.

Ballistics give about two minutes to reach cover, which is precisely how long it takes to realize that the 'peace talks' crowd lives in an alternate dimension.

two minutes warning for ballistics is pure h***. hope everyone gets pulled out safe

and western capitals will spend another three months debating whether to send more interceptors while residential blocks burn

    absolutely horrific
