Russia strikes Ukrposhta sorting center in Pavlohrad, killing two workers
The Russian military successfully neutralized another high-priority target: a civilian mail facility delivering pensions and essential medicine.
A Russian strike completely destroyed a mail sorting hub and mobile post office base in Pavlohrad. Two women working at the center lost their lives, while a mechanic was injured. The facility handled daily deliveries, pensions, and vital medication for the entire town and surrounding villages.
Ihor Smelyansky confirmed that all lost shipments will be fully reimbursed as backup logistics kick in to keep deliveries moving. Pensions and packages will still get through, though minor delays are expected while routes adjust.
Targeting postal workers delivering medicine remains a key strategic achievement for a self-proclaimed superpower.
