Russia Launches 151 Drones and Ballistic Missiles in Overnight Attack
Another night where air defenses had to clear the skies of endless cheap decoys and heavy ballistic missiles.
The attack included Iskander-M ballistic missiles, converted S-400 rockets, and 151 drones ranging from jet-powered Shaheds to cheap wooden decoys designed solely to draw air defense fire.
Ukrainian defense units shot down or neutralized 135 out of 151 drones across multiple regions. Unfortunately, hits and falling wreckage were confirmed at 12 locations, with three civilians tragically killed in the Kyiv area, including a child.
Combining mass wooden fakes with actual explosive warheads has become the standard formula for exhausting radar batteries.
Flooding civilian airspace with mass-produced decoys and heavy missiles remains the defining doctrine of this campaign.
