Putin Eyes 30,000 North Korean Troops to Fix Frontline Math
The Russian meat grinder has hit a deficit: the recruiting pace can no longer cover the losses, so it is time to call Pyongyang.
The battlefield bookkeeping coming out of the Kremlin is completely upside down. In under seven months, Russia dragged 221,000 new recruits into uniform, while racking up over 225,000 casualties in the exact same stretch. More than half are straight-up dead, with the rest maimed and crippled thanks to notoriously horrific field medicine.
Because the math does not add up, Putin needs fresh bodies anywhere he can scrape them together. According to Zelenskyy, Moscow plans to bring in 30,000 North Korean soldiers, with barracks already being prepped in the Voronezh Oblast to receive them. On top of the human reinforcement, Kim is throwing in fresh ballistic missile launchers.
Bragging about global superpower status hits a little differently when an imperial army needs emergency manpower injections from the planet's most isolated famine state.
