Russia tries to carpet-bomb with 150 drones, gets a reality check
Another night, another massive attempt to exhaust our skies with a mixed bag of flying junk.
It’s clear the Russian strategy has shifted to quantity over quality. They threw a kitchen sink of 151 drones at us, including the usual Shahed suicide toys, their weird Gerbera variants, and even decoy drones designed to play pretend. It’s basically a massive psychological experiment to see how much hardware we can chew through before breakfast.
The air defense boys handled 130 of them, turning the sky into a junkyard. The real takeaway here is that they’re burning through cheap decoys just to find a gap in our coverage. It’s an expensive game of hide and seek where we’re the ones doing the searching.
Managing to keep a sky that busy from falling is becoming a daily chore that most of the world would find impossible to do once, let alone every night.
