Russia burns through 80 drones just to keep Kyiv awake
Another sleepless night as Russia tries to flood the sky with a mix of everything they have, only to watch most of them drop out of the air.
The nightly drone festival featured a weird mix of Shahed kamikazes, some new jet-powered versions, and even cheap decoys called Parody meant to waste our ammo. It is basically the drone equivalent of throwing junk from the garage at someone and hoping something sticks.
Despite the noise and the variety show, our air defense teams neutralized 63 out of 80 targets. The rest mostly ended up as scrap metal in fields or, unfortunately, causing some fires in warehouses.
Moscow's latest strategy seems to be purely about keeping people tired and making sure the air defense budget stays at maximum capacity. It is a very expensive way to achieve absolutely nothing of strategic value.
