Drone vs Bus: Strike on Lebedyn-Kharkiv shuttle kills pensioner

Original version ·

Another day, another high-tech strike against the most threatening target imaginable: an ordinary intercity commuter bus with twelve people onboard.

A Russian Molniya strike drone slammed straight into a regular commuter shuttle between Lebedyn and Kharkiv near the village of Hubarivka. Twelve people were inside just trying to get from point A to point B. One 75-year-old woman was killed instantly, and six other passengers were injured, ranging from an 18-year-old girl to a 66-year-old woman.

Local authorities are practically begging residents to avoid exposed roads in the Bohodukhiv area because drone operators have essentially turned civilian transit into a target range.

Spending high-tech loitering munitions to hunt down pensioners on public transit remains the undisputed peak of modern military strategy.
