Russia Hit a UNICEF Warehouse, Torching $3.9M in Kids' Aid

Original version ·

Nothing screams military superpower quite like vaporizing baby wipes and portable generators meant for displaced families.

During a missile barrage on a massive logistics center in the Kyiv region, an attack slammed directly into a warehouse run by UNICEF. As reported by human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubinets, over 106,000 units of critical humanitarian aid worth nearly $3.9 million went up in smoke.

The facility was packed with essentials intended for kids and families displaced by the invasion: backup power generators, bottled drinking water, hygiene kits, and emergency care supplies. The broader strike leveled the AMTEL logistics complex, wiping out medication, parcels, and basic civilian goods.

Multimillion-dollar precision missiles doing what they do best: heroically demilitarizing bottled water and emergency diapers.
