Russia fired cluster-armed ballistic missiles straight at historic Kyiv
When ordinary terror is not brutal enough, firing cluster submunitions over the heart of historic Kyiv is apparently their weapon of choice.
Overnight, Russia hurled three ballistic missiles tipped with cluster warheads directly at Kyiv. These warheads are engineered to detonate mid-air before impact, showering a lethal 400-meter kill zone with indiscriminate shrapnel designed specifically for anti-infantry slaughter.
One detonation hit the historic Pechersk district, landing right between ancient landmark monasteries. Instead of whatever imaginary military outpost was pinned on an intelligence map, the blasts tore through local coffee shops, storefronts, and residential apartment windows.
Firing wide-area anti-personnel cluster munitions straight into a dense historic capital makes any talk of targeting military infrastructure completely absurd.
