Russia strikes again: civilian ship hit in the Black Sea
Another day, another tragedy as Russia decides that a civilian vessel is a valid military target.
A civilian cargo ship sailing under the flag of Guinea-Bissau just got hit by a Russian missile near Odesa. The crew was a mix of people from Syria, India, and a local Ukrainian pilot. The final death toll is at six, with four more still missing in the dark water.
It’s just wild how the bar keeps getting lowered. Attacking a commercial vessel carrying grain or whatever else just because they can. Eight people survived, but two are wounded, and the search operation is basically a desperate race against time.
Somehow, international maritime laws mean absolutely nothing when a cruise missile is involved.
