Pokrovsk and Sloviansk take the brunt as 53 frontline assaults hit in hours
Another day, another relentless grind where the Russian military tries to brute-force its way through the Donbas map.
By mid-afternoon, Russian troops had already staged over fifty separate assaults along the front, throwing most of their meat and metal straight at Pokrovsk and Sloviansk.
Seventeen pushes targeted Pokrovsk alone, while another fourteen slammed into Sloviansk. Over half of the day's entire offensive output went directly into these two meat grinders. Between dropping gliding bombs on border villages and probing the Kharkiv line, the tactic remains stubbornly primitive: throw enough bodies at a coordinate until something cracks.
Throwing endless waves at fortified towns might look like momentum on a map, but the arithmetic of running out of steam never changes.
