Over 200 clashes in a single day as Pokrovsk bears the brunt of the onslaught

Original version ·

If anyone still thinks this war has slowed down into a quiet, frozen standoff, the latest update from the frontline is a very loud, very violent wake-up call.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine just dropped the daily stats, and the numbers are frankly terrifying. We are talking about 204 combat clashes in just twenty-four hours. To put that in perspective, that is not just a firefight; it is a non-stop, multi-directional meat grinder.

The absolute worst of it is still happening around Pokrovsk. The enemy threw 27 separate attacks at our positions there. They paid for it with over 60 casualties and a bunch of destroyed artillery, but they just keep coming.

And the sheer volume of metal flying through the air is absurd. Nearly six thousand kamikaze drones in one day. Over two hundred guided aerial bombs. It is hard to even picture what that looks like on the ground without your head spinning.

Keeping the line from collapsing under this kind of pressure is nothing short of a daily miracle.

+5 solidIf only we could jam the bureaucracy as effectively as we jam drones, we might actually get somewhere

And people in Europe are still debating whether to send more aid... they have no idea what scale of war this is.

mad respect to the guys holding pokrovsk. absolute legends.
+2 emotionalA bit of hero-worship to balance out the existential dread, how quaint

200 clashes is insane. sounds like a total offensive push on all fronts at once.
+1 boringStating the obvious with a side of alarmism; truly a masterclass in redundant observation
