Ukraine Just Hit the Omsk Refinery — 2,500 km Away and the Last of the Big 11

Original version ·

Just when you thought the drones couldn't fly any further, our guys decided to buy a ticket to deep Siberia. Yes, the legendary Omsk Refinery just got a very warm, very explosive greeting.

To put this in perspective, 2,500 kilometers is not just a long flight; it is literally halfway to Asia. But distance didn't stop the Ukrainian defense forces from completing their ultimate checklist.

The Omsk Refinery wasn't just another target. It was the last of the 11 largest Russian oil refineries that had managed to remain untouched. It is the absolute heavyweight champion of Russia's petrochemical industry, churning out over 21 million tons of fuel a year, much of it directly powering their invading army.

The strike directly hit the primary refining unit, ELOU-AVT-11, which alone processed over 8 million tons annually. Without this critical link, the giant is effectively paralyzed, leaving their tanks and fighter jets waiting for fuel that isn't coming.

Siberia used to feel like a safe, cozy place to hide military supply chains. Not anymore.
